Codes of Ethics
1. To develop relationships of mutual trust and create partnerships with families we serve.
It is important that children, parents and teachers work together. Working together can be a positive impact on the child’s life and educational experience. It teaches the child how to interact with different people that they may encounter in society.
2. To assist the program in providing the highest quality of service.
I think that it is very important to provide the highest quality of service that you can offer. Being a provider and educating children and using all resources that are available are going to have positive results on the children as well as the families. Families will be satisfied with their child’s educational experience and will tell other parents about their child’s experience which will bring in more children to be able to experience early childhood education.
3. To establish and maintain relationships of respect, trust, confidentiality, collaboration, and cooperation with co-workers.
The setting of the environment is very important. Children can pick up on adult’s behavior. Working together and communicating with each other in the work setting helps children build their relationship with their peers. Being respectful and collaborating with each other is good and is very good in this field. Working with young children can be stressful at times and your co-worker may be able to help if the confidentiality, collaboration and cooperation with co-workers are good.
I'd like to say that I just stumbled upon your blog after getting mine set up and I was astounded! First, someone else with the name LaVonda -- rare and definately the signs of a great blogger friend! Second, your passion for children is to be applauded! I commend you on your efforts and look forward to discussing with you some plans of my own as well as being a supportive role in yours. May you find your greatest blessings in saving a child!
